How do I attach a clasp to ball chain? What type of clasp do I use?

Method 1: Use a ball chain connector (suitable to the size ball chain you are working with) as your clasp. Place the last ball on one end of the ball chain into one slot on the connector, and then place the last ball on the other end of the ball chain into the other slot for a secure connection.

Method 2: Insert the last ball on one end of the length of ball chain through the loop and into the slot of a ball chain connector. Press the loops on the connector together then use a jump ring to add a clasp of your choice, such as a lobster claw, springring or toggle clasp.

Method 3: Dip the last ball of the chain in E6000® Jewelry and Craft Adhesive and place a side clamp-on bead tip (suitable to the size ball chain you are working with) over it. Then use a jump ring to attach the clasp of your choice to the loop on the bead tip.
